The configurable parts catalog allows users to drag-and-drop real components to create an assembly of any scale. GrabCAD looks very different from our first example, with a dramatic black-and-red color scheme. Users can see a highlight effect when they hover over a face, and the section face highlights part edges in a vibrant green. GrabCAD offers a simple, easy-to-use interface with all the capabilities you would expect from a visualization tool — users can save views, measure, manage assemblies, and more. They have built a custom dynamic slider element for the explode function, taking a capability HOOPS Communicator offers and making it their own.
